Website Excellence for the Gospel: A Christian Tech Journey
In a world where technology often distracts from eternal truths, I see it as a tool for the Gospel. For 14 years, I’ve shared Christ’s message through Ask A Christian Podcast. Recently, under Ask A Christian Church, I’ve felt called to reach the unreached. I aim to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). As a startup with no staff or budget, I learned website building out of necessity. With faith and tools like AI, I achieved top performance. Therefore, my site reflects excellence for Christ. Let us dive in!
Website Excellence: A Testament to Faith-Driven Learning
Building a site for Ask A Christian Church was unexpected 14 years ago. Yet, necessity taught me well. I had no resources to hire developers. So, I sought the Lord’s guidance. I studied coding and WordPress themes. Moreover, I focused on digital optimization. This was not just about function. I wanted a platform worthy of the message. The result? My site stands out with Google Page Insights scores. Mobile performance hits 99. Desktop performance reaches a perfect 100.

These numbers carry deep meaning. They are not mere technical data. High performance ensures quick access to the Gospel. Users connect easily, whether on smartphones or desktops. Additionally, an SEO score of 100 boosts discoverability. Sources suggest my scores rank in the top 5% worldwide. If true, this shows self-taught skills can excel. Indeed, faith and effort surpass even Fortune 500 standards.

From Necessity to Ministry: Building for the Great Commission
My tech journey sprang from a deeper call. Ask A Christian Podcast engaged skeptics and believers for years. However, the Spirit urged me onward. I formed Ask A Christian Church as the podcast’s umbrella. This shift targets unreached people groups. Over 3 billion souls lack Gospel access. Consequently, I use AI and translation tools to reach them. For more on this, see Unreached People Groups: Nate’s Gospel Call.
I needed a strong online presence for this vision. A website serves as a gateway for the lost. It connects ministries and shares resources. With no budget for costly websites, I was forced to dip my toe into the world of coding. I quickly found myself overwhelmed. Fortunately, with the help of cutting-edge AI tools and resources, I was able to let the AI handle the heavy lifting in coding. In the process, I gained unexpected skills in other areas like website development, optimization, speed, and efficiency. Now, I offer the results of that journey through my portfolio. Check it out at Ask A Christian Podcast Portfolio. Anyone is welcome to download and freely use the child theme PHP and CSS files to further Christ’s work.
Website Excellence as a Shared Blessing
Necessity turned into opportunity with God’s help. While AI took care of the code, I focused on the logistics, organization, vision, and implementation. As a practical ministry of the Ask A Christian Church, this code is made available to you. We offer it as a hand up—so new or future ministries and organizations can benefit from a head start. Use my hard-earned experience and feel free to build your own platform. Website excellence matters for the Gospel. How can tech open doors for you? Furthermore, share your ministry dreams below. I’d love to hear them.
