Who is God?

God is the Creator of everything, perfect in love and power. He’s always with us. See Genesis 1:1.

What does it mean that God is a Trinity?

God is one but three—Father, Son, Holy Spirit—all fully God. See John 1:1-14.

Why did God create us?

God made us to love Him and show His glory. See Genesis 1:27.

What is sin?

Sin is anything we do against God’s will, like lying. We all sin. See Romans 3:23.

How did sin enter the world?

Sin started with Adam and Eve disobeying God. See Genesis 3:1-19.

What happens because of sin?

Sin keeps us from God and brings trouble. See Romans 6:23.

Who is Jesus Christ?

Jesus is God’s Son, fully God and man, who saves us. See John 1:14.

Why did Jesus die?

Jesus died to pay for our sins so we can be forgiven. See Romans 5:8.

What does Jesus’ resurrection mean?

It means Jesus beat death and gives us eternal life. See 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.

How do we get saved?

We trust Jesus, say sorry, and follow Him. See Romans 10:9-10.

What does being saved mean?

Being saved is trusting Jesus to forgive us and bring us to God. See Ephesians 2:8-9.

Who is the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is God in us, helping us live for Jesus. See John 16:13.

What does it mean to be born again?

It’s getting a new heart from Jesus through faith. See John 3:3-7.

What is the gospel?

The gospel is the good news that Jesus saves us. See 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

What is the Bible?

The Bible is God’s Word to guide us. See 2 Timothy 3:16.

Why is the Bible true?

It’s from God and proven by history and change in lives. See 2 Peter 1:21.

What happens when we die?

Believers go to heaven; others don’t. See John 14:3.

What is heaven like?

Heaven is a perfect place with God forever. See Revelation 21:4.

What is hell like?

Hell is being away from God forever. See Matthew 25:46.

Will Jesus come back?

Yes, Jesus will return to fix everything. See Acts 1:11.

Who are angels?

Angels are God’s servants who help us. See Hebrews 1:14.

Who is Satan?

Satan is a bad angel Jesus already beat. See Revelation 12:9.

Church Stuff

What is the church?

The church is all Jesus’ followers, not just a building. See Ephesians 1:22-23.

Why do we pray?

We pray to talk to God and get closer to Him. See Philippians 4:6.

How should we pray?

We pray honestly, trusting God, like Jesus showed. See Matthew 6:9-13.

What is worship?

Worship is praising God with songs and our lives. See John 4:23-24.

Why do we meet on Sundays?

We meet Sundays to celebrate Jesus rising. See Acts 20:7.

What do pastors do?

Pastors teach us about God and help us grow. See 1 Timothy 3:1-7.

What is baptism?

Baptism shows we follow Jesus with water. See Romans 6:4.

What is communion?

Communion remembers Jesus with bread and juice. See Luke 22:19-20.

What is fasting?

Fasting is skipping food to focus on God. See Matthew 6:16-18.

Why is the Bible important at church?

The Bible teaches us God’s truth at church. See 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

What is fellowship?

Fellowship is being friends with other believers. See Acts 2:42.

How do we share Jesus?

We share Jesus with love and kindness. See 1 Peter 3:15.

What are spiritual gifts?

Spiritual gifts are ways the Holy Spirit helps us serve. See 1 Corinthians 12:7.

Faith in Your World

How do we live for God?

We live for God by loving Him and others. See Matthew 5:16.

How do we treat friends?

We treat friends with love and respect. See John 13:35.

How do we handle fights?

We talk nicely and try to understand each other. See Colossians 4:6.

Why don’t we gossip?

Gossip hurts, so we build others up. See Ephesians 4:29.

How do we forgive?

We forgive like God forgives us, letting go of anger. See Ephesians 4:32.

How do we help others?

We help others with kindness, showing Jesus’ love. See Galatians 5:13.

How should we use phones?

We use phones to help and learn, not just play. See 1 Corinthians 10:31.

What do we do about bullies?

We pray for bullies and stay kind, trusting God. See Matthew 5:44.

How do we deal with stress?

We pray and trust God to help us through tough times. See Romans 5:3-5.

How do we obey parents?

We obey parents to honor God. See Ephesians 6:1-3.

What does God say about lying?

God says don’t lie because truth matters. See Exodus 20:16.

Growing Strong

What are God’s rules?

God’s rules, like “don’t steal,” guide us to good. See Exodus 20:1-17.

Why do we obey God?

We obey God because He loves us and knows best. See John 14:15.

What is preaching?

Preaching is teaching God’s Word to help us. See 2 Timothy 4:2.

Why do we sing?

We sing to praise God and feel close to Him. See Colossians 3:16.

What are small groups?

Small groups are friends studying God together. See Acts 2:46-47.

How do we learn at school?

We learn with God’s truth in mind. See Proverbs 1:7.

How do we trust God?

We trust God by knowing He’s in control. See Romans 8:28.

What does God want from us?
