Who is God?
God made everything! He loves you so much. See Genesis 1:1.
Who is Jesus?
Jesus is God’s Son who came to help us. He loves us so much He died and came back to life! See John 1:14.
Why did God make us?
God made us to be His friends and love Him. We’re special to Him! See Genesis 1:27.
What is sin?
Sin is when we do something naughty that makes God sad, like not sharing. We all do it sometimes. See Romans 3:23.
Why did Jesus die?
Jesus died to take away our sins so we can be friends with God again. See Romans 5:8.
What is the Bible?
The Bible is a big book from God that tells us about Him and how to live. See 2 Timothy 3:16.
Loving God
Why do we pray?
We pray to talk to God, like saying thank you or asking for help. See Philippians 4:6.
How do we pray?
We pray by talking to God with our hearts, like saying “I love you” or “Help me.” See Matthew 6:9-13.
What is worship?
Worship is telling God He’s awesome with songs and love. See John 4:23-24.
Why do we sing at church?
We sing to tell God we love Him and to feel happy together. See Colossians 3:16.
Being Kind
How can we be kind to our friends?
We can share and help them, like Jesus wants us to. See John 13:35.
Why do we say sorry?
We say sorry when we’re naughty to fix things with God and friends. See 1 John 1:9.
How do we love others?
We love others by being nice and helping them, like Jesus loves us. See Matthew 5:44.
Why do we share?
We share because God loves when we’re kind to each other. See Galatians 5:13.
What do we do when we’re sad?
We can pray and tell God, and He helps us feel better. See 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.
God’s Big Family
What is church?
Church is God’s family where we learn and play together. See Ephesians 1:22-23.
Why do we go to church?
We go to church to hear about God and be with His friends. See Acts 2:42.
Who helps us at church?
Pastors and helpers teach us about God and take care of us. See 1 Timothy 3:1-7.
What is heaven?
Heaven is a happy place where we’ll live with God one day. See Revelation 21:4.
Who are angels?
Angels are God’s helpers who watch over us. See Hebrews 1:14.
Can we tell others about Jesus?
Yes, we can tell our friends Jesus loves them! See Matthew 28:19-20.
What do we do if we fight?
We say sorry and forgive, like God forgives us. See Ephesians 4:32.
Why do we say thank you to God?
We say thank you because God gives us so many good things! See Philippians 4:6.
How do we obey God?
We obey God by listening to Him and being good. See John 14:15.
What does God want us to do?
God wants us to love Him and be kind to everyone. See Matthew 22:37-39.
